libgmsh-dev software package provides Three-dimensional finite element mesh generator. Development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmsh-dev
libgmsh-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmsh-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmsh-dev *
You will get with libgmsh-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
